# Replace Email Plain Text

Replaces a drag-and-drop email’s separate plain text, or clears it with an empty string to generate it from HTML. Requires the account’s manual plain-text setting and an editable email. Stored plain text blocks body edits until cleared. Takes effect for sends immediately; sends nothing.
