# Tags

Use these tools to create and manage the manual tags available in a KlickTipp account. Tags provide a flexible way to organize contacts, describe their interests or status, and connect customer information with targeting and automation.

For example, you can create a new classification, update its name or description, find existing tags, or remove definitions that are no longer needed. Assigning or removing tags on individual contacts belongs to the Contact Tagging group, while further tag-management actions may be added in the future.
